Durchführung von Marktforschung und Machbarkeitsstudien, um die Rentabilität und Erfolgschancen des Projekts zu bewerten.

Beschaffung von finanziellen Ressourcen für das Projekt, sei es durch Eigenkapital, Fremdkapital, Kredite oder andere Finanzierungsinstrumente. Der Projektentwickler investiert sein eigenes Kapital oder sammelt Kapital von Investoren ein.

Entwurf, Planung und Entwicklung des Immobilienprojekts gemäß festgelegter Ziele, Anforderungen und Standards.

Überwachung des Bauablaufs, Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Qualitätsstandards und Budgetvorgaben.

Verantwortung für die Vermietung der Immobilie an potenzielle Mieter oder den Verkauf der Immobilie an interessierte Käufer nach Fertigstellung des Projekts.

Möglicherweise übernimmt der investierende Projektentwickler auch die langfristige Verwaltung der fertigen Immobilie, um kontinuierliche Einnahmen aus Mieten oder Betrieb zu generieren.
