PEPER & SÖHNE SUPPORTS INITIATIVE AGAINST THE TRAINING LEVY
Yes to better education! No to the training levy!
We as a group of companies are convinced that it must be possible to increase the number of young people who can be trained. Nevertheless, we consider the training fund planned by the Bremen state government to be an aberration. Some of the reasons why we believe the planned training levy is fundamentally wrong:
The compulsory levy further increases the costs as well as the organisational effort, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises
Companies are already desperately looking for trainees and spend a lot of time and money on this. This will does not have to be supported by a symbolic premium that does not cover the costs of an apprentice.
Once again, bureaucratic hurdles and structures are being created before existing ones
are dismantled.
The state is doing a poor job with its own educational mandate - companies are being
held liable for this.
