Bremen, December 2, 2025. Peper & Söhne GmbH is constructing a new production and logistics site in Kassel for Rehadapt GmbH, a global specialist in mounting systems for assistive technologies. The building combines production, assembly, and warehouse logistics under one roof and is consistently geared toward the tenant's processes.
The project schedule envisages construction starting in January 2026. A total of approximately 11,000 m² of hall and office space will be created on a site area of approximately 20,000 m² in a multi-user building with two units. Unit 2, with approximately 2,800 m², will be leased to a third party; the space is currently still available.
Peper & Söhne is acting as fee developer for Necron Group AG, which is acting as investor. Rehadapt was advised in its search for a new location by real estate service provider Jones Lang LaSalle SE (JLL). GOLDBECK Nord GmbH has been commissioned as the total contractor. Peper & Söhne is aiming for at least DGNB Gold certification for the new building.
“With this production and logistics property, we are creating a location for Rehadapt that is precisely tailored to its processes, combining efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability, and supporting further growth in the market for assistive technologies,” says Christoph Peper, managing partner of Peper & Söhne.
Michael Jakobi, Chief Executive Officer at Rehadapt, explains: “The new production and logistics site in Kassel is a decisive milestone for Rehadapt. This property, which is precisely tailored to our processes, enables us to further expand our position as a global specialist for mounting systems and to serve our customers even more reliably. This means we are ideally equipped for future growth.”
"The Necron Group is proud to be working with Peper & Söhne to realize this future-proof production site, which supports growth and meets the highest sustainability standards. For us, this is exactly the kind of development in which we create value: by connecting strong parties, simplifying complex processes, and achieving an impact that will last for years to come. Furthermore, this is not only an important milestone for the Necron Group, but also a starting point: we see many opportunities in Germany to further expand our business and create long-term value," says Gerard van Liempt, CEO of the Necron Group.
The new building will be constructed in accordance with the DGNB Gold Standard and complies with EU taxonomy. The sustainability concept includes an air-water heat pump with long-range nozzles, extensive green roofing, roof skylights for high daylight yield, an electric charging infrastructure, and a photovoltaic system.
The site has direct access to the A49 motorway with good connections to the A44 and A7 motorways and offers quick access to Kassel city center, the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe ICE train station (approx. 10–15 minutes), and Kassel Airport (approx. 20–25 minutes). Public transport bus connections are available.
