PEPER & SÖHNE CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY
Peper & Söhne, based in Bremen-Hemelingen, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. The group of companies was founded in 2013 as the Peper family's family office with a focus on the development, letting and management of commercial real estate.
Initially, there were only a handful of employees, but now there are almost 50 team members who manage projects in Bremen as well as the entire northern German region. The first international project has also been in the group's portfolio since the beginning of 2023: "HUB 48 Maribo" on the Danish island of Lolland.
"From the very beginning, it has been our goal to make Bremen more attractive as a business location. We have certainly made a contribution to this, but we have not yet reached the end of the road," says Lutz Peper, who founded the company together with his sons Christoph and Matthias and now serves as chairman of the group's advisory board.
Christoph Peper, managing partner, adds: "For example, with the refurbishment of the Allerkai and Lloyd Industriepark industrial parks, we have made our mark in Bremen in the past. With our current major project, the SPURWERK, more will be added."
In addition to the development of commercial districts, Peper & Söhne has proven itself in the past particularly in the asset class of logistics properties and there with a focus on the automotive sector. This will continue to be a special focus of Peper & Söhne in the future.
In the past ten years, Peper & Söhne has developed a total of approx. 417,100 square metres of real estate in the federal state of Bremen alone and made it available to local companies. This is roughly equivalent to 58 football pitches.
Peper & Söhne has always kept the sustainability of its projects in mind. Numerous completed projects already bear the gold certificate of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) because of their ESG-compliant construction methods, and in the future we will strive for at least the gold certificate with every new building project.
