SPURWERK: SAAB DEUTSCHLAND RENTS 1.680 M2 OF OFFICE SPACE

The Peper & Söhne corporate group has successfully let 1,680 m² of office space in the Arbeitswelt at SPURWERK in Bremen, which is currently under construction, to Saab Deutschland GmbH. The Swedish defence company will open a new location for its Naval Systems product unit there and move into several floors of Arbeitswelt A. Saab is scheduled to move in during the 3rd quarter of 2023. Saab already maintains a location for its Naval division in Wilhelmshaven, which will remain.

"With Saab, we are gaining a prestigious tenant that will further enhance the SPURWERK location and fit in well with the existing tenant landscape. In addition, I am convinced that the arrival of Saab will be well suited to Bremen as a technology location," says Christoph Peper, Managing Partner of the Peper & Söhne group of companies.

"I am very pleased that we will be opening another location for our marine division in Bremen. In doing so, we are taking into account Saab's growing importance in Germany. Germany is the most important market in Europe for Saab outside Sweden. We will continue to deepen our expertise in order to support the German Navy with the latest technology in the changing times," says Anders Sjöberg, CEO of Saab Deutschland GmbH.

Construction of further working environments to be initiated

In leasing the space to Saab, the Peper & Söhne group of companies was supported by the real estate consulting firms Jones Lang LaSalle from Hamburg, which are exclusively mandated by the tenant side for space applications, as well as Robert C. Spies.

With the signing of Saab, the rental offer for office and commercial space in the Arbeitswelt, which is currently under construction, as well as the two commercial units at SPURWERK is almost exhausted. Due to the good demand situation, Peper & Söhne will push ahead with the construction of the other three planned work worlds, each with approx. 3,400 m² of rental space.
