Peper & Söhne has successfully let almost 2,100 m2 of commercial space at Bremen's SPURWERK to Basic-Fit Germany GmbH. The fitness studio operator, which operates throughout Europe and has its origins in the Netherlands, has rented a complete commercial building and will commence operations at the beginning of 2024. Peper & Söhne was supported by property consultants Robert C. Spies in letting the space to Basic-Fit. This means that all the rental space currently available at SPURWERK has been fully let. In addition to a further commercial hall with a total rental area of approx. 3,000 m2, an office building, a so-called Arbeitswelt, with a rental area of 3,800 m2 has already been completed at SPURWERK.
"With Basic-Fit's commitment, we are further increasing the quality of stay at SPURWERK for all users. We are also delighted that all of the space created during the first construction phase has now been let. This gives us great confidence for the further construction projects at SPURWERK," says Christoph Peper, Managing Partner of Peper & Söhne.
"At Basic-Fit, we have made it our mission to make fitness accessible to everyone and a favourite habit. That's why we are proud to further expand our offering in Germany to provide our members with affordable, flexible, personalised and safe fitness solutions. This location fits very well with our expansion plan for Bremen, where we already have another club in Stresemannstraße and more in the pipeline. It's a stand-alone location with great visibility and accessibility, offering our new members a brand new fitness club where they can work out in comfort," says Pierre Coolen, Operations Director Germany at Basic-Fit.
Peper & Söhne plans to build three further working environments, which will offer office, catering and exclusive showroom space, as well as a multi-storey car park in the first construction phase of SPURWERK. The building application for the next working environment was already submitted in November 2023. Further rental space at SPURWERK is expected to be available at the beginning of 2025.
