We are delighted that the state-of-the-art Langwedel logistics centre we built has been awarded the DGNB platinum certificate.
The ESG-relevant measures that we have implemented at the commercial property, which will be completed in 2023, include, for example:
- Implementation of a site-specific biodiversity strategy
- Green façade in some areas
- E-charging points for cars
- Modern toilet and shower room for external drivers
- Efficient air heat pumps instead of gas in combination with a PV system
- Life cycle assessment
- Use of low-emission building materials
- Modern LED lighting
- Thermographic measurement
- WGK sealing for high third-party usability
- Smart monitoring to optimise energy consumption
A modern PV system with approx. 1,900 kWp on a roof area of 18,000 m2 also supplies electricity and saves approx. 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ per year.
