Peper & Söhne has successfully leased a group-owned light industrial property with approximately 3,000 m² of warehouse and office space in Bremen’s Airport City to the DRK-Kreisverband Bremen e. V., which manages the building on behalf of the Bremen Emergency Medical Services.
The social service provider officially opened the facility on Hanna-Kunath-Straße on March 13, 2026, together with Interior Senator Eva Högl and representatives of the emergency medical services. In the future, key functions of the emergency medical services will be consolidated at this location: a logistics center for vehicles and supplies, as well as a disinfection center for vehicles and equipment.
“We are very pleased with the German Red Cross’s commitment and that we can support its important tasks within Bremen’s healthcare infrastructure in the long term by providing the appropriate space,” explains Christoph Peper, managing partner of the Peper & Söhne Group.
“With the new logistics center, the Bremen emergency medical services will become more resilient, effective, and modern. The DRK Bremen was happy to take on this responsibility and played a key role in shaping the new facility,” adds Bernd Blüm, Chairman of the Board of the DRK-Kreisverband Bremen e.V.
Peper & Söhne was supported by Robert C. Spies Industrial Real Estate GmbH & Co. KG in leasing the space.
