SPURWERK RECEIVES DGNB PRE-CERTIFICATE IN GOLD
The SPURWERK was awarded the DGNB pre-certificate in gold.
At the EXPO REAL in Munich, Hermann Horster, Vice President of the DGNB German Sustainable Building Council, ceremoniously presented the certificate to our management - Christoph Peper, Malte Wilkens and Nico Grutzpalk. The Bremen Senate Building Director, Prof. Dr. Iris Reuther, was also on site and addressed a short greeting to those present.
"We are delighted to receive this award from the DGNB. It is confirmation of our efforts to realize a commercial quarter in the heart of Bremen that is as sustainable as possible," says Christoph Peper, Managing Partner of the Peper & Söhne Group of companies.
The SPURWERK is characterized, among other things, by the fact that it does not use fossil fuels. A modern wastewater heat exchanger provides for the heating or cooling of the quarter. In addition, there is smart facility management for live measurement and control of consumption, photovoltaics, a charging infrastructure for e-mobility, and much more. In addition, SPURWERK is a brownfield development. An industrial wasteland is being revitalized on the site of Bremen's former Neustadt freight station.
