SPURWERK: FERCHAU RENTS 930 M2 OF OFFICE SPACE

The Ferchau GmbH secures 930 m² of office space at the SPURWERK and will occupy a complete floor of the five-storey working environment currently under construction. The company is thus leaving its location in Bremen's Überseestadt and will move into its branch at SPURWERK in the autumn of this year. In total, four Arbeitswelten are to be created in the first construction phase of the SPURWERK.

“We are delighted that Ferchau, a leading technology service provider, has been able to inspire our sustainable neighbourhood development. Ferchau will further enrich the industry mix at SPURWERK,” says Christoph Peper, Managing Partner of the Peper & Söhne Group. As owner of the site, the Bremen investor & project developer is responsible for the realization of the SPURWERK.

“The Spurwerk is centrally located, has very good connections to the city’s main traffic arteries and is the first sustainable district in Bremen. As a technology service provider in engineering and IT, we want to think further – forward-looking and innovative. That’s why the decision was made for the SPURWERK,” says Claudia Leitner, Head of the Bremen branch of Ferchau GmbH.

The Robert C. Spies Group was active in advising and mediating this conclusion.

There are also interested parties for the remaining rental areas of the first Arbeitswelt. Discussions are ongoing.

In addition to Ferchau, numerous other companies have already signed up for the SPURWERK. For example, the companies Famo, Sto, Suding & Soeken (Reesa Farben und Lacke) and Würth will purchase space in the commercial units currently under construction. Like Liftkontor, a company for the rental and sale of lifting platforms and telescopic forklifts, Sto is already active in an interim use on the SPURWERK site.
