RINTELN – EINES VON 30 ERFOLGREICHEN PROJEKTEN

The third-use production and logistics hall in Rinteln is one of 30 successfully completed projects by our group of companies. Here we have summarised what makes the project so special.

Since the foundation of the Peper & Söhne group of companies, we have realised numerous projects. Each one was unique in its own right, and the project in Rinteln will remain a special memory for us. The property, which was acquired by Nuveen Real Estate, was fully let on completion, has an exciting tenant mix and was the first project we realised in a joint venture with Sander Projektgesellschaft. Of course, the new building also meets all the requirements to receive the DGNB Gold Certificate.

In Rinteln, three tenants share almost 34,000 square metres of hall space. The third-use production and logistics hall is let to KS Logistik GmbH, a company of the Krombert & Schubert Group, GPD Foodpackaging GmbH & Co. KG and the logistics service provider NOSTA Group.

The modern new building meets all the requirements of modern service providers. The hall height is approx. 10m UKB and in the production areas the hall floor can be loaded with up to 10kN per m². In addition, there are a total of 24 rear dock doors and 9 ground-level doors. The property, which can be reached via the A2 motorway, is located in a dynamically growing logistics region where Aldi, DHL and Hermes, among others, also have logistics centres.

The tenants of the property in Rinteln are as diverse as the companies in the region. While the Kromberg & Schubert Group develops and produces wiring systems for the automotive industry in its core business, the NOSTA Group is an internationally operating family business that supports its customers worldwide as a full-service logistics provider.

GPD Foodpackaging, on the other hand, is involved in a product that not only numerous single households have no way around: Frozen food. In fact, from 2022 onwards, 750 million sustainably produced pizza boxes are to leave the site in Rinteln every year in a process that is unique in Europe.

It took just under a year from the start of construction to the handover of the last hall segment - an ambitious time frame that could only be met thanks to the efficient cooperation of all partners involved in the project.
