We are delighted that the sorting and distribution centre we built for Hermes Germany GmbH has been awarded the DGNB Gold certificate.
The ESG-relevant measures that we implemented at the commercial property, which will be completed in 2023, include rainwater retention, a planting plan agreed with NABU e.V., e-charging points and a PV system on the roof.
The PV system consists of around 1,500 modules, which are capable of generating around 550,000 kWh of electricity per year. Among other things, the electricity generated at the site is used to charge the parcel service provider's e-cars and e-Sprinters.
